Let’s play out exercises and games from improvisational Theater together!
What is this about?
In this event, you’ll learn a few techniques of improvisational Theater. Through these techniques, you’ll have a chance to play small Theater scenes in a short period of time. It will be an evening with a great beginner experience. Nothing too difficult, lots of fun, and maybe also a moment or two that will make you marvel at your own abilities and the deep truths about storytelling.
Schedule for the evening
We will start with warm-ups that will help us forget about everyday life and take away the fear of having to be creative. Then we will learn to create characters out of nothing and the basics of storytelling. Toward the end, we will act out small scenes in a fun setting.
With the techniques of improvisational theatre, you also have a chance to learn something in your everyday life; like the ability to put others in a good light and thus create a wonderful community feeling, the joy of making mistakes and conjuring up something unique from the here and now without planning.
