Ceramic Smoothie Cup Painting Workshop

Ever wanted to sip your morning drink from a cup you made yourself? Join us for a cozy, hands-on afternoon of ceramic painting- no experience needed, just curiosity and clean hands (well, for a little while).

You'll get your own medium-sized handmade ceramic cup to choose from a few designs, then learn different decorating techniques using colorful engobes to make it truly yours. All materials, glazing, and firing are included; we'll take care of the rest, you just take home a one-of-a-kind cup a few weeks later.

And yes, before you ask, the cups are dishwasher- and microwave-safe, so your creation is made for everyday use, not just the shelf.

The workshop takes place at InterLokal, which also happens to be a smoothie bar, so feel free to order a delicious smoothie or drink while you paint, and maybe imagine it in the cup you're about to make.

Spots are limited to 8, so it's a small, relaxed group perfect if you're coming solo or bringing a friend.

Keramik-Workshop: Bemal deinen eigenen Smoothie-Becher 🎨🍓

Du bekommst deinen eigenen handgefertigten Keramikbecher in mittlerer Größe.

We will have two tables set up at the ‘Banquet for All’ event that takes place in the old town of Dresden. There will be several other organizations and companies participating in the event. We would love for you to visit our table, offer some food to share or just your company.

Do you want to be involved in representing the InterLokal community? then please fill out this form and let us know how you can help.

Skip the awkward small talk and kick off the weekend the easy way. Playing a game together gives everyone an instant icebreaker, zero pressure, and a reason to laugh whether you’re competitive or just along for the ride.

We’re kicking off this Friday from 6:00 PM onwards at the Smoothie Bar.

We’ll have a stash of games ready to hit the table, but if you’ve got a personal favorite you’ve been dying to play, bring it along! The event is completely independent and free to join, all we ask is that you keep your glasses full and support the bar while you play.

Think of it as your Friday launchpad: drop by solo or with friends, grab a drink, meet some awesome people, and see where the night takes you.

In our fast-paced, globalized world, authenticity often gets pushed aside. Introductions usually follow a predictable pattern: What’s your name? Where are you from? What do you do? But do these labels capture who you truly are? Or are they simply masks to help others place you into familiar boxes?

Imagine an immersive experience where we can set aside these identities and connect on a human-to-human level. In an intercultural environment, this kind of connection is especially powerful. Despite our different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, we can create a bond that transcends these boundaries and celebrates our shared humanity.

During Authentic Connections: In just a few minutes, you may uncover new aspects of who you really are and feel a closeness to others that goes beyond words. If you’re ready to explore authenticity in a refreshing, transformative way, we invite you to join us.

Questions about living and working in Dresden after your studies?

This is an opportunity for students to connect in an international atmosphere and network with companies and employees.

At the regulars' table (Stammtisch), former international students talk about their path into the German job market and share practical tips. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can ask questions and make contacts.

Participation is free of charge. Please register in advance. As places are limited, we kindly ask you to cancel your registration in good time if you are unable to attend.

The event is organised as part of the DAAD-funded project FIT:TER at TU Dresden.

If you have any further questions, please contact Alena Kornishina.

This Event is especially useful for Students studying in Dresden and its surroundings.

Our regular International Stammtisch is back!

• Are you longing to practice languages?

• Are you in need of meeting friendly, open, international people?

• Do you enjoy board games?

If any (or all) of this sounds like you… This is your vibe.

The Stammtisch is a place where languages are exchanged, friendships are started over a board game, and great food brings everyone together. There's no agenda, no formalities — just an open table and good vibes.

See you there!

Because of intense heat, this week's Stammtisch will take place on the riverside in front of the Elbsegler Beergarten. Call us if you can't find us.

A day in stolpen castle

Stolpen Castle sits on an ancient volcanic hill just outside Dresden — a place of basalt pillars, a bishop’s chapel, and centuries of quiet history. It’s the kind of place that feels like it means something.

We’re gathering there for a picnic day — nothing structured, just good company, good food, and a beautiful setting for people who enjoy a little magic in their surroundings.

Bring a blanket, bring something to share, and come ready to slow down for a few hours.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, the event will be cancelled.

To sign up, use the form below — you’ll then receive access to our group, where we’ll coordinate the meeting point and share all the details ahead of the day.

Estimated time: 10.00

(Make sure to sign up for full details)

Join InterLokal Social Hub, ISC Dresden, and Table of 4 Supper Club for the ultimate International Riverside Picnic. This isn't just a meal; it’s a global meet-up at the riverbanks, and you’re invited to the inner circle.

What’s the Vibe?

Imagine the sun setting over the water, the sound of laughter in five different languages, and a spread of delicious, authentic food. We’re bringing together the city’s most vibrant international community for an afternoon of:

• Global Bites: Come hungry, here is the menu;

Phuchka: Classic Kolkata-style street food with crisp puris, spiced potato filling, tangy tamarind water, and bold, refreshing flavors.

Aloo Chop with Bread: A comforting Bengali favorite featuring spiced potato fritters served with bread, bringing a warm, savory street-snack feel to the picnic.

Indian Fusion Cheesecake Cupcakes: Mini cheesecake-style cupcakes inspired by beloved Indian desserts, with flavors like Gulab Jamun or Rasmalai for a sweet fusion finish.
