We will have two tables set up at the ‘Banquet for All’ event that takes place in the old town of Dresden. There will be several other organizations and companies participating in the event. We would love for you to visit our table, offer some food to share or just your company.

Retro Refresh: A 90s Smoothie & Mocktail Party

Is it just us, or have you also been feeling lately that parties shouldn't always be late at night? That drinks should be nourishing too?

We're trying something new: a daytime dance party. On July 24th, 17:00–21:00, join us for an evening of music, movement, and connection powered by delicious, nourishing smoothies and mocktails instead of the usual drinks.

DJ Charles will be spinning 90s hits filling the space with color, energy, and good vibes.

This event is open to everyone, whether you're a confident dancer or have never danced in public before, whether you're coming with friends or showing up solo. Retro Refresh is a welcoming space to meet people from all over the world.

InterLokal x GOPA Ceramics: Wheel Throwing for Beginners

In this workshop, specially tailored for the Interlokal community, we will explore basic techniques on the potter's wheel and work with different clay types and colours. 

Whether you come alone or with a friend, the idea is to relax, meet new people, enjoy a creative activity together and have a lovely intercultural experience

Hot drinks and handmade ceramics present for each participant, are included.

Trimming, glazing and firing your pieces is included in the price, I'll take care of bringing your creations to their final state, unless you prefer to come back and do it yourself ;)

Questions about living and working in Dresden after your studies?

This is an opportunity for students to connect in an international atmosphere and network with companies and employees.

At the regulars' table (Stammtisch), former international students talk about their path into the German job market and share practical tips. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can ask questions and make contacts.

German & Hiking Club – Learn German on the Trail!

Have you always wanted to learn German but found classroom lessons too boring or apps too lonely?
Do you love hiking, nature, and meeting people with a shared curiosity for language and life?

Then this is for you.

We’re launching a unique German & Hiking Club – a monthly hiking group designed for German learners (A2 level and above) who want to improve their vocabulary and grammar while exploring beautiful nature trails in and around Dresden. 

Led by a certified German language teacher and passionate hiker, Ivana Purath, this small group experience (only 8 spots available!) combines outdoor adventure with immersive language practice. 

How it works:

• You commit to one guided hike per month (second Sunday of the month)

• Join our WhatsApp group for regular learning tips & updates

• Each hike includes language-focused activities and grammar practice in real-life situations
